ABDC4 –Recap Episode 8 & the Entire Season

We Are Heroes is America's Best Dance Crew (Season 4)

What an unpredictable and odd season they had for the past 8 weeks. Bringing back all 9 crews is interesting to see who was memorable. For the group routines Lil Mama's group killed it, with 3 of the strongest girl..i mean Feminine crews this season (they can't go wrong with their Track). Each of them were all different and unique and the blend together worked very well. For the rest of the show the top 2 performance was just "for show" and didn't show any competition like the previous season (all care free fun to I Gotta Feeling, we might win).

And happy after the fact that We Are Heroes won the competition, thank God! I really believe it was the last chance challenge performance which really pulled the votes for them. Overall this season was very unusual and lacked consistency. It screwed up a lot of votes since they were all split and pretty much went to the most "exciting" performance of the week. We Are Heroes really deserved it and proved themselves very well even with some okay performances, still it was covered by their creativity and style.

And if it weren't for these performances the show would have been ruined...

My Top 5 Performances of Season 4 of ABDC
Hard to pick since I liked a lot of performances from some particular crews:

5. We Are Heroes, Vogue Evolution, & Artistry in Motion's Girls on the Dance Floor: Best Group Routine, displayed a lot of unique talents and the girls bringing on a new energy/style.

4. Vogue Evolution's Choice Challenge: No Homo but this first perf. from Vogue Evolution was really exciting & showed attitude and character (which a lot of the crews lacked).

3. Massive Monkees's Tearin' Up My Heart: Yes after countless b-boys on the show Massive Monkees was able to bring new crazy tricks as well as some great choreo and ideas to this routine which allowed them to beat out Rhythm City.

2. We Are Heroes' Ichiban: Most unique crew of the season and this performances shows all the determination they had to win the competition. C'mon tutting around a Ring of FIRE! It was so epic it belongs with the other great Last Chance performances. It really combined a lot of elements and notable performance like their Choice Challenge and Single Ladies.

1. Rhythm City's Muay Thai Routine: Hard to pick (out of 3) which performance blew out all the negative thoughts on this lacking season. Rhythm City came hard and really showed their strong choreo-based style (esp 1 of the best from the East). This performance showed it all from tricks, to theme story (didn't know it was Kill Bill eh?), to incorporating their Muay Thai challenge. This crew really knows how to groove and cover all the bases of making a great and memorable routine. Also notable performance included their first Choice Challenge as well as Jai Ho.

That's my opinion, comment which performance you think was the best this season (unless you refused to watch this season).

Oh well there's always next year...Already excited, Stay Tuned.
