Creative and cool theme clothing, Robot Is The Future has been around since 1999. It has been featured by artist like Snoop Dogg, NaS, Lupe Fiasco, and so forth. Again its always the concept and inspiration that makes it sick. Hard Work, Creativity and Honor. What's great is that its an exclusive brand and their different pieces are limited, so they always got new stuff. Check out their website here

–Tribute to MJ

In following the last post I think this video is appropriate to show the inspiration and influence Michael Jackson has on Music, Dance, Style, & Conviction. JBWKZ posted this on their twitter.

The Latest On –JabBaWocKeeZ

Well the JabbaWockeeZ have been touring for the past couple weeks as the opening act for the New Kids On The Block Concert Tour. It's not even a small part they have entire set to perform with everything. Check out the behind the scenes video here. More footage of their latest routines shot in Las Vegas, favorite part of their set is the Ryan Leslie track (in Part 2 vid).

Rest In Peace MJ.

2 say that Michael Jackson was a force in the music industry is an understatement.. King of Pop is even an understatement.. RIP. (via @ajrafael)

Profile –BoxCuttuhz, Get Your Hands Nerdy

The other group featured on ABDC from Cali led by Lando Wilkins. The concept and choreo of the crew all comes from Lando, to get dancers to step outta of the box. He has mostly been noted for all his workshops up and down the coast. And to me BoxCuttuhz' style is precisely tight and smooth it continues to evolve with every new performance. Lando himself has also been associated with previous crews that included members of the JabbaWockeeZ. And yea Lydia is associated with BoxCuttuhz and Quest.

Original ABDC Audition, too bad they didn't get to show their potential

Now On iTunes –"Best I Ever Had"

Even with his mixtape So Far Gone out there for download Drake's first single is now on iTunes. The video should be coming out soon (directed by kanYe West).

Nice cover esp. incorporating the track titles in the mixtape in the background. See that one up in air?

This is the original cover said to be obscure. What do you think?

–MY NINJA! Clothing

Simplistic and creative My Ninja! clothing is created by Peter Hong aka Peter Rocks. He's a musician, producer, and engineer. With no experience in fashion, his clothing is another expression of his creativity. Just like the image and spacing of text and the use of colour in the tees. Check out the website here

Proj –for the Work, Passion, & Family

Recently worked on a project for my Tito's 50th Birthday. With personal projects esp. for family I always find it to be difficult since there's a lot more thought being put into it. For me just to design, print, and put it together there is a bit more pressure to have something that is perfect.

The concept of the card was all about my Tito, more specifically his work. My Mom had sketches of his old work and what made it a lot personal was the fact that it was sketch-designs of her actual wedding dress. So my role here was to take these drawings and it allow to become the visual and design of the card. I decided to make it a 3-sided fold out card to place the drawings like a exhibition or portfolio display. It is always the outcome/response that is the best part of designing but what I also got out of the project was the inspiration and the amazement of talent in the family. It is what's inspiring, what I aspire to, and the gifts we can share with one another.

–Did you catch that?

I was just watching this movie this weekend (don't ask why) and the funny thing is that i spotted this image in one particular scene.
Well it is a Jerry Bruckheimer produced film as well.

Proj –Ad Brochure

This is one of the first projects I've worked on this summer. In one week I had to create a "Corporate Advertising Brochure" for the Kingston's Frontenacs. My goal here was to bring a lot of visual appeal to the viewer, mainly with the placement of the pictures (text as well, though secondary) to allow the companies to imagine the possibilities of advertising themselves in the arena. The challenge was to fit in all the information and pictures given to create a consistent, well organized, and visually stimulating design.

Profile –SoReal Cru, Man Hail Nah!

Runners up in Season 2 of ABDC but since then I’m gonna say they have been one of the most hard working crews since the show. With a number of new routines, workshops, YouTube Episodes (SRCTV), and a really great fan-base they are killing it! All the way from Houston they’ve got a hard-hitting/smooth style. Just watch them dance, you can feel every single beat.

With UH’s Filipino Student Assocation didn’t realize it was them back then (2006)

–Behind the Blog

Been working on the blog for the last 3 weeks and the background was probably the reason why it took so long. At the same time I was already working on some other projects (which I'll post later). Overall the blog design was just a chance to experiment with different concepts and visuals.

From sketches to what you see now

Planning and actually using real pictures to implement into the background

Size was important since I had to make sure the blog is properly seen on all computer screens

Glasses was suppose to emphasize the "nerdy" aspect
