Profile –QUEST from Los Angeles

Yeah you probably already know them from America’s Best Dance Crew, but they are and continue to be one of my top favorite crews ever! They still amaze me with their insane tricks as well as their choreography. Majority of them did derive from the b-boy crew SickStep. Other member (who were not featured on ABDC) include Lydia Paek (from BoxCuttuhz), Andy Luo, Aris Paracuelles, Nicky T (from the pop group V Factory), & Adil Thathaal (winner of So You Think You Can Dance Norway). I dunno if it weren't for YouTube I wouldn't have been as hyped up for this crew. And yes i'll admit i'm obessed with Quest cause their so sick!!

Think I was discussing this with some co-workers during one of the shifts at work. In no particular order:

• De La Cruz (also De la Cruz or Dela Cruz)

Intro –Kallusive “Leave Your Mark”

Man graphic-tees are probably one of the biggest obsessions I have when shopping or just looking up online. Kallusive is a great example since it probably has some of the coolest graphic designs on their clothing. From their illustrations, material, inks, foils, and most importantly the concepts that go into every shirt (Use of text!!) these tees are well crafted. The clothing company is established in California and has been featured by crews like Quest and Kaba Modern. They are associated with music, cars, as well as their own dance team. Intro –School

After one year in the York/Sheridan Design Program this is the outcome of all the trees, money, sleep I’ve killed. I’ll get to the actual work later on in another post.

Review –Terminator Salvation

I found to movie to be really good and not disappointing as a fan of the franchise. The story was pretty good as writers including Jonathan Nolan (worked on the Dark Knight as well) helped create a new setting in the Terminator story in a post-apocalyptic world (rather than trying to prevent doomsday from happening but failing like in
Terminator 3).

Whats good is that new viewers can watch it without seeing the first three movies since it is a restart to the series (at the same time it signifies a LOT of references to the previous films). There is a hell lot of action in the film featuring a variety machines that are completely insane. The casting is good particularly Sam Worthington who does play the main character Marcus Wright and Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese.

I guess the only flaw which everyone can point out in the movie is the Batman cameo that gets everyone thinking “why the hell is he in this film”. Overall great summer action film and addition to the franchise, since it does answer/reveal some questions at the same time bring up more questions to the philosophy of the story.
